Happy New Year...

Not much going on except for welcoming in a new year. I do hope Davey will come on and guess the resolutions each of us might have for next year!

Sorry for spacing it but its been a little hectic this last week!

As far as I can tell.....

This is an off week for golf. I use it to order the few items I buy for Christmas and straighten up around the House on the weekend in case any "friends " show up during the Holidays!

 Oh, there is a little partner event for old middle and young players that is considered "shit's and giggle's " fun , sort of like when you play with other couple's from the club. It takes 5 and a half hours to play and all you can think of on the course is how good an ice cold beer will taste when this crap is over with .

But, its for a good cause so let's just leave it at that!

We are finally here...

I thought since we have the most exciting event coming up this week and both overseas events are done we put a new thread up for golf's start to the comeback of all comeback's!!

All Right.....

Is there an event this week or is it our one week off season break? I know the OZ Open is coming soon!

Okay, we have an event this week ....

That will be bashed for being too weak of field or not having enough top 200 players. I'll play some teams in DK and FanDuel so I have  some extra interest on the line!

What is coming up this week?

All I know is I am going to play Tuesday to see if my body can hold up!

I must admit...

I have no clue as to what is going on in the world of golf this week. Someone please help me out!

Just when you thought the season was over...

We have the President's Cup going this week! Some players have to be fried and on a side note I am rooting for the Internationals!

It's finally here.....

What we have all been waiting for. The Fed Ex Cup finale known as the Tour Championship! Seriously, its nice to make it to East Lake and there are many perks for all that get there! Is Marc going to pull a Billy H. and win the last two after blowing the 2nd cup event on the back nine? Or, is Jordan going to win his second to bring more comparisons into play between him and Tiger?

We call this moving week in the Fed Ex Cup...

I want to stay excited about the Fed Ex Cup but man, college football has good games every week and the NFL had a couple of surprises early so it appears this is going to be an interesting season. I will do my best to focus on week 3 of The Cup!

Anyone want to talk football for the next week?

Or, we can all brag about how far we hit our driver! Or, we can talk about how low we shoot when we play!

Will the second week of play-offs be as good as first week....

We shall see. I know its always fun to see two top players going at in down the stretch and then into a playoff! Fun stuff!!

I hate to shut down that thread. Far and away the most exciting major of the year and I think Jordan's last 5 holes at British was one of the best major moments ever so they cleared a high bar this last week! Well done!!

PGA Championship....

Yes, this is a major and the final one of the year. It usually has the strongest field of the year so its always a gem if you can take the title! I've given up hope on there being a tough test for a major this year so let's hope they shoot 22 under par.

The 6th Major this week......

Excitement has been building for weeks now and the week is finally here. I know GPB can't wait for this huge event to start. I would bet he won't leave this weekend to go to the lake! I know I am stoked!

First Major of the Year.... for the Ladies! Houston Open for the men

We've got our first major of the year and its the ladies leading the way! We also have the Houston Open prepping many for Augusta! Should be a good week along with the Final Four going on!!

WGC Match Play event.... I'm not sure if playing it so close to the Master's is a good idea but!

I do like this event even though I am not a big fan of match play. When playing I loved it because I could get under my opponents skin but it was a little boring for me as compared to grinding out for a score! JMHO! Should be a great week no matter my feelings!!

Arnie's week! Except for the fact that Michelle and Cheyenne headline the Ladies!

I want to thank everyone for us having a nice thread again for this last week. The only post I had to double check was when Robo bashed me for winning Yahoo this week. I can understand how someone would get a little ticked that I would win since I am quite possibly the worst Yahoo fantasy player ever!
