Tiger Woods two weeks....

I got caught off guard with the Wed. start

One more event before we get ready for round 2 of Tiger comeback......

Hero and PC should be some fun and will liven up our December.

How many weeks of limbo are we in for?.....

Asian Swing in Korea, or China or Japan or somewhere.

So when's Tiger playing?

And its on to Houston we go....

We would normally be excited this event was on our door step because it meant The Masters was very close but we can still pretend there is excitement for Robo's sake and no bashing the field because Robo has feelings too! :)

What do we have this week?....

How long before PC?

Is this a big week of golf or what?

Week 2 already of 2020 season... when is the PC?

I thought the idea was to not compete against the NFL!

A New Season is now upon us.... wait! Isn't it just the first week of September? I would think we've got 5 or 6 weeks to go yet!

A new week and still no Tiger....

My guess is Tiger is having issues with either his back or his neck. 3 Tournaments since The Masters means something is wrong or hindering him from playing other than majors or Jack's event. After the British we will see how much he plays thru the rest of the year.

If he does not make PC team on merit he should not put himself on the team in my opinion but pressure and money will dictate he does so what do I know?!

Okay,... I know its the Rocket Mortgage event this week....

I am so confused with the schedule that I have no idea whats next...

We've got basically nothing until the Fed Ex cup events. Has Tiger assured himself of making it thru at least the first two events? I know there are just 3 this year right?

My second favorite major.... our National Championship

I think the USGA can be a stuck up group of people who think their shit does not stink but..... I'm tired of hearing guys bitch about the conditions of the course. I want to see rough where you have to hit it sideways to get out ( a half a stroke or more penalty ) and I think if you miss the green you should be happy unless you hit an incredible pitch to have a 15 to 20 footer for par.

These whiny babies want greens that hold every shot they hit into the greens and God forbid they have to actually worry about speed on their putts. If they want greens that hold and slower speeds on the greens then the rough should be 8 inches long so you must hit the fairway with your drives period.

I loved the US Open because it meant that even par was a goal to win. Not only should you be physically exhausted but you should be mentally exhausted as well.  Jack Nicklaus came in 2nd how many times in a major? How many times did you hear him complain about the conditions or the bad break he got on a hole or a green when he lost?

Hard to believe that my 3 favorite majors will all be in the books by the middle of June.... weird!

One more week...

I will be on the road starting tomorrow till we get to Ohio. I will be watching though! Great Award for Tiger!! We are in Kendallville, Ind. starting Tuesday for one of my annual golf trips. I'm not sure about 36 holes for 3 of the days but we will see how it goes.

RBC is a nice tourney on a great little track!

I got a chance to play a few holes last Fall before my surgeries at Hilton Head and it was fun seeing the course again up close and personal.

It is THE week in golf..... The Masters !!

For me this is the greatest week in golf. The best conditioned course by far and it carries with it the greatest feeling in golf. Now that they have two events at this great facility it is a must if you have never gone. If someone loves golf then you must find a way to get there.

I was first there in 1973 with Jim Jamieson ( Piggy ) and it was amazing then but when I went back 11 years ago and I was stunned at its beauty and how much it was the same but how much it had changed for the golfer!

Don't pass up any opportunity to see and walk this course!

A breather week before The Masters ....

Brings a pretty strong field to Texas. It appears many like to play the week before a major!

WGC Match Play...

I'm finally going to watch it again, at least for 3 rounds! This event does not get my motor running. For anyone interested we had huge sales at Novi golf show and we have been approached by investors who want to put in big money. I am leaving the decision up to my partner., I gave him my parameters as to what I think would be fair % wise for dollar amount but it is his decision. I told him since it was his idea from the start he should make final decisions on these type of matters. I'm good either way he wants to go. I also played 4 rounds in Biloxi and was quite pleased as I played from ^,300 to 6,600 yards and broke 80 all 4 rounds with the third round an even par round. I was a little shocked at how well my short game held up... 3 chips ins for the 4 rounds which always helps your stats. The last round I hit 14 greens which felt good even though the putter cooled that last round but greens had been spliced just two days prior so they were a little difficult!

Valspar Championship

No Tiger this year but it should be good tournament anyway.

Toughest field of the year ??????

I look for Tiger to show some big positives this week!

Bay Hill with NO TIGER

Hopefully it's nothing too serious with his neck. Less will watch but still a great field. 

A slower week...

No Tiger this week so it should calm down a little but not to fret, Tiger will back shortly!

Another great Tiger week... right?

Jordan and Hadwin cost me big time on FanDuel. Their weekend play kept me out of the big money. I still won a little but not much. What in the hell is wrong with Jordan and the putting? I will say when he was looking and not looking at the hole on short ones a couple of years ago it sent red flags up everywhere. He seemed to not let it effect him but now he looks like a mess over the short ones.

I did not watch this event last year so I do not know much about the course... does it favor long ball or do you have to be straight to have a chance??????

Tiger week again this week...

Does Tiger take a step forward and contend this week or does he stay in that mode of just making the cut and finishing the week strong but out of the race to win?

ToC for me is the start of the new season. Sorry for not updating as much of late. I have been thru two more surgeries and a biopsy on my lymph nodes. Thankfully, all is clear so far with two more surgeries to go.
